African Lady Vase

Description

The Ubuntu Vase is a hand-thrown ceramic piece depicting African women holding hands around the rim, symbolising unity, connection and shared humanity. Inspired by the African philosophy of Ubuntu “I am because we are” this vase reflects deep community-based values rooted in African culture.

Each vase is individually handmade in Cape Town by women from the Masiphumelele township. Subtle variations in form, texture and colour are a natural part of the process, making every piece unique and enhancing its authenticity.
