Beaded Oblong Shields

Description

Handcrafted in Cameroon, these Beaded African Warrior Shields take their design from traditional shields of the Tikar people. Hunters and warriors once carried shields like these as symbols of rank and identity. Today, artisans recreate them using detailed beadwork, cowrie shells and Manila string.

Each shield is handmade. No two pieces match exactly. You get a one-of-a-kind décor item with cultural depth.
